Guwahati News Desk: One person found hanging in a tress near Gunjing at Dima Hasao on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Waywungdisa village and the dead body was first seen by a villager and immediately informed the Haflong Police.
Police officials immediately rushed on the spot to investigate the scene and recovered the body and sent to Haflong Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
According to the sources, the body was identified as Phironjit Kemprai, a residence of Sampharidisa village.
According to the family members, their 22-year-old was reportedly missing since June 5 with his Tata commercial vehicle having registration number AS-02-CC-5366.
His family reported his missing information in the newspaper as well as in new media.
His body was recovered inside a jungle and found hanging as locals of the incident area informed.
The Haflong Police have started the search operation and with deep investigation to find out the cause.
