Guwahati News Desk: The Excise Department of Assam has declared dry day October 15 on the occasion of Dashami in Guwahati City.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the department.
All the bars and alcohol shops to remain close across the Kamrup Metro district in view of the Dashami celebrations.
All the foreign and country liquor, IMFL, bar, retail sellers and business establishment deals with the selling of liquor are to be closed.
According to the sources, strict actions will be taken against the one for violating the order in any form which will be liable for strict action under Excise Law.
