Guwahati News Desk: The government of Madhya Pradesh has announced a ban on the movement of public passenger buses to and from Maharashtra due to the increasing COVID-19 cases.
The movement of buses will be banned immediately from March 20.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made the decision during a meeting to review the covid 19 situations with municipal commissioners ad district collectors.
Recently, Maharashtra reported new 25,833 COVID-19 cases in a single day and the active cases increase to 1,66,353.
The state reported 53,138 death due to the virus since 2019.
