On Monday evening, 22 November, a body of a house painter was shockingly found under mysterious circumstances lying inside house no. 24 in the area of Laxmi Nagar in Hatigaon of Guwahati. According to sources, the deceased person was later identified with the name Milan Chetry of 55 years old who was missing for five days from 18 November 2021.

The locals of the Laxmi Nagar area came across the dead body and immediately informed the police officials. After the recovery of the body, a case was registered in the Hatigaon Police Station and a detailed investigation has been taken forward by the police.
