Guwahati News Desk: The government of Assam have inaugurated the academic programme of AIIMS Guwahati on Tuesday.
Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal and Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the academic programme.
Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan and Ashwini K Choubey along with other dignitaries joined the event via video conferencing.
The launching of the academic programme of AIIMS has marked an important milestone in healthcare and medical education sector in Assam.
