Guwahati News Desk: A spicy potato can be an interesting recipe for dinner at home. With rice and roti this recipe turns out to be more delicious. It can be made in a few minutes and is perfect for the guest who gives you a sudden visit.
- Ingredients for Spicy Potato:
- Four Potatoes.
- Three Tomatoes.
- One table spoon of Sesame seeds.
- One table spoon of cumin seeds.
- 7 to 9 garlic cloves.
- 5 to 6 green chillies. (for more spicy flavor you can use king chilly)
- Small amount of ginger.
- Coriander leaves.
- Three table spoon oil.
- Salt as per taste.
How to Cook:
Boil all the potatoes for few minutes and let them cool. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Boil the tomatoes in the same way and peel and grind it. Meanwhile chop the onions and chillies. Dry roast coriander, cumin, sesame seeds and grind it after they cool down. Blend garlic, chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, salt and add some water and make a paste.
In a low flame, cook onion and tomato puree in a pan, add the coriander garlic paste and sauté for few minutes. Now add potatoes and two teaspoon of dry roast masala and let it cook for few minutes.
After the potatoes are cooked keep it for a while.
The delicious spicy potatoes are ready to serve.
