Guwahati News Desk: The 58-year-old television actor Madhavi Gogate breathed her last on Sunday.
According to sources, the actor was suffering from complications related to Covid-19 and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai for the last couple of days.
However succumbing to the deadly virus, she eventually passed away on Sunday.
Regarding Gogate, she is a well-known face in the world of television, and her very recent role was of ‘Kanta Joshi’ in the TV show called ‘Anupamaa’.
Paying tribute to the late actor, her co-star from the show, Rupali Ganguly, wrote a post on social media that read as, “So much left unsaid. Sadgati Madhaviji.”
Mourning over the demise of Gogate, the TV actor Nilu Kohli also wrote an Instagram post that read as, “Madhavi Gogate my dear friend nooooo. I can’t get down to believing that you have left us. Heartbroken @gogatemadhavi you were too young to go. Damn Covid. I wish I had picked up that damn phone and spoken to you when you did not reply to my msg. All I can do is regret now.”
Moreover, even the other actors of Anupamaa including Mehul Nisar and Alpana Buch remembered Madhavi Gogate as well, on social media. Buch, who plays Anupamaa’s mother-in-law, wrote, “Madhaviji this is not done..actor can not take exit before scene gets over…we will miss you on Anupamaa set…your cute smile.. sweet voice…and humor…we will all miss you.”
Further referring to the actor’s death to be shocking, Nisar wrote, “Shocked..! Numb..! Unbelievable..! Madhaviji has left us..! RIP#madhavigogate #anupamaa.”
