Guwahati News Desk: At least 12 students of Cotton Collegiate Government Higher Secondary School of Pan Bazar have tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
The detection of positive cases has created a panic situation among the parents and the school administration.
According to the sources, the Kamrup Metro District Administration (KMDA) has not declared the school as a containment zone even after 10 students tested positive for COVID-19.
It was known the administration of the school has not followed the guidelines issued by the government regarding the conduction of classes in the school.
Currently, the students are under isolation and treatment.
