Guwahati News Desk: Overall 13 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Sivasagar district in Assam till Thursday.
According to the sources, two patients have been admitted to Sivasagar COVID-19 hospital and two patients were admitted to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH).
Currently, nine people who have tested positive are under home isolation.
The health department urged the people to wear masks, sanitize hands and maintaining proper distance.
In Sivasagar, a total of 11,409 people received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as more than a hundred people died during the first wave of the virus.
