Guwahati News Desk: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced highway infra work including construction of new highways for Assam in Union Budget 2021-2022.
A highway covering a distance of 1,300 km have been implemented for Assam as the project is to be completed in the next three years.
Along with Assam, Tanil Nadu to get a corridor covering 3,500 kms, Kerela to get highway covering a distance of Rs 1,100 with an investment of Rs 65k crore and around 675 kms to be constructed in West Bengal with a cost of Rs 95k crore.
