Guwahati News Desk: At least 15 people were killed in an explosion at a fireworks factory at Virudhunagar district in Tamil Nadu on Friday.
Soon after the incident, the rescue team immediately rushed on the spot to control the situation as the injured people were admitted to the nearest hospital.
The explosion is one of the tragic incidents that took place this year.
The state government have announced compensation for the kin of the deceased.
