The Baghjan is being burning since May 27 this year as on November 5 a team of five-member reaches Assam from Canada including the snubbing unit borough by Oil India Limited (OIL) to control the situation.

As after the continuous effort finally the fire has come to end as many expert across the globe like United States, Singapore and Cananda visited Assam to control the flame.

Due to the continuous flame around 3000 families were affected including property damage. However, relief camps were set up by the OIL to feed those families.
