Guwahati News Desk: The continuously burning flame of Baghjan in the Tinsukia district of Assam from the last 172 days finally stopped on Sunday.
The fire took place in Well No 5 which is said to be the biggest fire disaster of the nation that has affected the nearest flora and fauna severely.
The Baghjan is being burning since May 27 this year as on November 5 a team of five-member reaches Assam from Canada including the snubbing unit borough by Oil India Limited (OIL) to control the situation.
As after the continuous effort finally the fire has come to end as many expert across the globe like United States, Singapore and Cananda visited Assam to control the flame.
Due to the continuous flame around 3000 families were affected including property damage. However, relief camps were set up by the OIL to feed those families.
