Guwahati News Desk: Two ONGC employees have been rescued in the Mon area in Nagaland on Friday night.
The three ONGC employees were abducted by ULFA-I from an ONGC rig site at Lake field in the Sivasagar district last Tuesday.
The Assam Police arrested 14 people found to be linked with the abduction case of the three ONGC employees.
Among the three, the rescued employees have been identified as Alakesh Saikia and Mohini Mohan Gogoi who were taken to the Assam Rifles headquarters at Mon in Nagaland.
AK47 rifle has been recovered from the area however the operation is still on the way to rescue Ritul Saikia.
