Guwahati News Desk: 25 people were injured after lightning struck them in a residential area at a village in Thane district, Maharashtra.

The incident took place at around 7 pm during heavy rains in Thane where lightning stuck Palaspada hamlet in Umbarmali village under Sahapur taluka.

A house was completely destroyed including adjoining houses suffered damages.
