Guwahati News Desk: A 7-year-old girl was rescued from a human trafficking racket from Daporiju district in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday.
A combine joint operation took out by Sonitpur Police, Biswanath Police and Itanagar Police successfully rescued a minor girl from human trafficking.
Police officials arrested three traffickers related to the case, they were identified as Irfan Khan of Biswanath Chariali, Irfan Sanu and Ashish of Dhekiajuli.
According to the sources, police officials were looking for two more accused linked with the case who will be arrested soon as the search operation is still underway.
The minor girl was sold to a lady in Itanagar for Rs 1.2 lakh for domestic work.
