Guwahati News Desk: Every year 21st May is observed as International Tea Day, cheering up moments for tea lovers across the world.
Earlier, only tea production countries use to mark the International Tea Day on this day annually.Today, the world is observing the second International Tea Day.
The concern resolution concept of the celebration of the special tea day was adopted on December 21 of 2019 and asked the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization to lead the observance of the day as later in the year 2020 United Nations declared as International Tea Day globally.
While speaking to a tea lover from Assam says, “If tea is not an addiction, make a habit of it. Being a beverage having a lot of medicinal values, there’s no harm in consuming tea.”
