No action has been taken by the administration to close the college or cancel the exam. Meanwhile, the administration has been silent on the situation. Yesterday Six students at B Borooah College tested positive for Covid, and the respective college authority have not taken any action and earlier at Gauhati University (GU) students tested positive for the virus.
Following reports of a viral outbreak on campus, classes at the GU have been cancelled. Today, 6,984 new coronavirus infections were reported in India. According to the Union health ministry, the number of active cases in the country has decreased to 87,562.
