Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) of Dibrugarh has decided to close down Outdoor Patients Department (OPD) service with immediate effect amid rising cases of COVID-19.
The OPD to remain close for the period of two weeks as the decision was taken after a meeting with the Dibrugarh district administration.
The emergency services will continue as per schedule as the number of OPD patients decreased in the last few days.
Dibrugarh reported 454 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
