Guwahati News Desk: The well-known social activist and Gandhian, Anna Hazare, was admitted to a hospital in Maharashtra’s Pune on Thursday.
According to sources, Hazare was admitted to Ruby Hospital in Pune following chest pain.
The information about Hazare’s health was released by the Medical Superintendent of Ruby Hall Clinic, Dr. Avdhut Bodamwad, on Thursday.
Bodamwad said, “Anna Hazare was admitted to Ruby Hospital in Pune following chest pain. He has been kept under observation and stable.”
Moreover, the medical superintendent further informed that the 84-year old is currently stable and is undergoing further treatment.
Meanwhile, on receiving the news about Hazare being hospitalized, Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, who is also admitted in HN Reliance Hospital and is currently undergoing physiotherapy, inquired about Anna Hazare’s health and wished the social activist a speedy recovery.
