Guwahati News Desk: The largest Tulip Garden of Asia in the capital city Srinagar of Jammu & Kashmir opened for the general public and tourists on Thursday.
During the inauguration of the garden, Lieutenant Governor Baseer Ahmed Khan was the honorary chief guest.
The garden situated on the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains will see over 15 lakh flowers of more than 64 varieties in bloom.
On the opening of the continent’s largest tulip nursery, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urges people to visit Jammu & Kashmir whenever they get the opportunity to witness the scenic Tulip festival.
