Guwahati News Desk: Assamese feature film ‘Riyaz’ directed by Mriganka Borah wins the title of Best Concept Award in The Buddha International Film Festival 2020 held at Pune in Maharashtra on November 27.
The film is produced by Mriganka Borah himself as the lead role played by Soumar Jyoti Borah and Swagata Bharali.
The Assamese film Riyaz has been nominated at the LIFFT India Filmotsav- World Cine Fest 2020 where the film will be competing under various categories. The film also has been nominated for the Asian Film Festival, Los Angeles Hollywood 2020.
Riyaz is an unusual and unique love story of a blind boy Ashim who falls in love with a widow, Karabi.
