Guwahati News Desk: Minakshi Saikia, a teacher of Tezpur, who hails from Sonitpur, Assam, has titled as “the first smoke artist” under India Book of Records 2022.
She has drawn a few paintings on the A4 size papers by using the smoke of a candle as a medium to craft it in 45 minutes.
The report said that she set the record on October 20, 2020, at her residence and she used a match stick to outline the images.
Also, she put the white small papers on candle flames and once the papers turned black due to smoke, she drew the map of India, the Taj Mahal, and rhinoceros on three different papers by using the smoke as a background.
The Assam book of records appreciates the work and confers the state record certificate upon her.
Her skills have been acknowledged and per the verification done by the Editorial Board of ‘India Book of Records,’ only the best has been selected and approved by them.
It has also been analyzed that the record will be featured in India Book Records Publications wherein the title remains exclusive for each achiever.
