Guwahati News Desk: East Guwahati Police District team of Khetri Police Station in a major operation against the gang involved in motorcycle theft arrested them successfully on Monday.
Police official recovered stolen KTM Duke 250 Motor Cycle and apprehended 3 accused. After conducting an interrogation and based on the leads of three accused, police team recovered more 7 bikes.
In the special operation against motorcycle thieves, 8 more accused have been apprehended by the Khetri Police.
On Sunday, in a relentlessly following the trail through painstaking detective work the police team successfully recovered 4 more bikes.
After the continuous operation, the team successfully arrested 12 bike accused and recovered 12 bikes as the operation continued till Monday.
List of two-wheelers recovered by police team are one KTM Duke 250, one TVS Apache RTR, one TVS, seven Honda Dio, two TVS Ntorq. The police officials said Deep Saikia is the mastermind behind the motorcycle thief as further examined to unearth additional details about the network.
