Guwahati News Desk: BJP leaders are visiting regularly in Assam ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections for campaigns and attending rallies to ensure victory in the state.
Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah including Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chaohan too visited Assam recently, as the elections are dated to be held in three-phase on March 27, April 1 and 6.
During his visit to Assam, the National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J P Nadda on Monday said a total of 15 National Highways have been provided to Assam in just five years and BJP is working for the development of the State and its people.
The development has been made possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal.
