CM laid foundation stone for multipurpose food shelter in Lakhimpur
Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal laid down the foundation stone for construction of multipurpose food shelter at Bahgorah Dhunabari in Lakhimpur district today.
Minister of P&RD and Cultural Affairs Naba Kumar Doley, Revenue and DM Minister Jogen Mohan, CEO of ASDMA and Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur were present in the event.
The total cost of the project is worth Rs 2.51 crore which have an inmate capacity of 400 people together.
The food shelter will be generator and solar power enabled. A separate dormitory for women and separate room for health centre etc was also set up.
