Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal commemorates the prestigious Anuradha Cineplex in Guwahati City on Thursday on the completion of 50 years.
CM Sonowal also attended the premiere show of ‘Midnight Song’, an Assamese feature film. The Cineplex was reopened after a long gap as it was immediately shut down on March 2020 due to increasing cases of COVID-19 in the state.
During the occasion of 50 years, the owner of Anuradha Cineplex Chinmay Sharma gave the welcome address of the programme. Former Minister Bijoya Chakrabarty was also present along with other prominent dignitaries like Jahnu Baruah, Malaya Goswami, Pranjal Saikia including other host.
