Guwahati News Desk: The Kamrup Metro District Administration (KMDA) has issued a notification as a part of Azara and Sonapur was declared as containment zones in Guwahati on Wednesday.
Luri village in Sonapur was declared containment zones as the boundary are starting from Digaru River in the north, Luri NC in the south, Bhakuagug village in the east and Nartap village in the west.
On the other hand, Titamara village of Azara was declared as containment zone as its boundary starts from the residence of Gopal Kumar Nath in the north, a bye lane in the south, residence of Phuloni Das in the east and a vacant plot in the west.
The areas were declared as the containment zone for the next 14 days as the movement of vehicles and individuals were prohibited.
