Guwahati News Desk: A trainee constable was allegedly raped by an inspector rank official of the Assam Police inside the Assam Police Training Centre at Dergaon, Golaghat.
The incident took place on October 2 after which the woman left the training institute and went home. The incident came into highlight after the whole story was narrated to her husband. Later the husband lodged a complaint against the accused who is a Chief Drill Instructor (CDI) of Armed Police Training Centre.
