Guwahati News Desk: A massive murder case was reported after a couple we allegedly killed at their residence at Chandan Nagar area in Survey of Beltola. on Tuesday morning.
According to the sources, the couple were brutally killed by robbers who shove into their residence at night.
The victims were identified as 87-year-old Noni Gopal Baruah and 76-year-old Mina Baruah.
Soon after the incident was reported Police officials rush on the spot to take a stock. After the investigation carried out by the officials it was reported the miscreants entered their residence through shattered window and was reported many items.
The bodies were found lying in the bed with blood as it was said they were killed with sharp weapons.
The elderly couple is survived by two daughters living outside Guwahati.
