Guwahati News Desk: The Kamrup Metro District Administration (KMDA) has issued a notification on Saturday that for the smooth disposal of bodies of patients who died of COVID-19 in Guwahati more designated cremation grounds ware declared.

The Ulubari Cremation Ground, Bhootnath Muktidham, Athgaon Kabarsthan, and Islampur Kabarsthan have been declared as designated cremation grounds in Guwahati for the said reason.

Kamrup Metro alone reported 1,543 news COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
