Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma launched COVID-19 vaccination for children of the age group between 12 to 14 years of age at Rukminigaon Valika Bidyalaya High School in Guwahati on Wednesday.
During the vaccination drive Chief Minister Sarma assured parent that the vaccination provided to children is completely safe. It was also stated that children should not take the COVID-19 vaccine on empty stomach.
Chief Minister Sarma tweeted, “Happy to launch Covid vaccination drive for children in 12-14 age group in Assam at Rukminigaon Balika Vidyalaya High School, Guwahati. I want to assure all parents that this vaccine is completely safe for their children, but it should not be taken on empty stomach.”
