Guwahati News Desk: The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI) of Guwahati City has extended its COVID-19 testing counters in view of increasing numbers of passengers testing positive for COVID-19.
The COVID testing counters has increased to 21 numbers from 9.
According to the sources, due to the lack of more testing facilities at the airport, some arriving passengers are being left off without testing.
Some passengers who arrived at Guwahati Airport created fake documents like hotel bookings in other northeastern states to avoid the COVID-19 test at the airport.
