Pallabi Baruah: Craving for some snacks this diwali? Well, here is your savior for this cold evening. Papdi chat recipe will take less time but will surely make your festive season worth remembering. Now lets prepare the dish without delay..

Ingrediants for Papdi:

  • All purpose of flour (Maida) – 1 cup
  • Semolina (Suji) 1/4cup
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Sugar
  • Ghee-2tsp
  • Cooking oil to fry

Other Ingrediants

  • Boiled Potato-1
  • Curd
  • Onion
  • Bhujia
  • Tomato
  • Tamarind Chutney
  • Green Chutney
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • Roasted Cumin Powder

Process:
For the Papdi:
Mix well Maida, Suji, Ghee, a pinch of Salt and Sugar in a bowl. Add water and knead the flour into dough. Remember, the dough should be neither too thik nor too thin. Keep aside for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes take a small ball of the dough and roll it out. With the help of a cutter, cut it into small pieces and pierce it with a fork. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the papdis till golden brown.

Now take a plate and put the papdis in it. Add curd, chopped potato, onion, tomato,tamarind chutney, green chutney, red chilli powder, cumin powder (as per taste), bhujia, a little bit of tomato ketchup. Add salt if needed.

Mix all the ingredients well and your yummy chat is ready to eat.
