Guwahati News Desk: State Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu flagged off the Free Text Book Carrying Vehicles at Assam State Textbooks Productions and Publications Corporation Limited Complex at Bonda in Guwahati on Wednesday.
The FTBCV deliver books to the students who are not able to attend schools regularly due to rising cases of COVID-19 in the State.
The pandemic has affected the students from 2020 till date and students were completely dependent on online classes as scheduled by the teachers.
Earlier, books were available in the schools and shops but this time due to pandemic and the shutdown of schools, students will receive free textbook from the vehicle.
Such initiative during the pandemic will boost the studies of the students.
The free textbook to reach every district across the State.
