Guwahati News Desk: The government of Assam has issued a notification on Thursday that detection of more than 1000 COVID-19 positive cases on a particular day in Guwahati will be the closure of all educational institutes in the city with immediate effect till May 4.
The educational institute to include both public and private including schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes etc as the announcement was taken keeping in view the rising numbers of positive cases in Kamrup Metro by Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Kamrup Metro.
During this time, the administration has said for the continuation of online classes which to be conducted as per schedule organized by the esteemed educational institution.
