Guwahati News Desk: Excise personnel seized illicit distilled liquor, fermented wash and IMFL in Silchar on Wednesday.
Liquors were seized during patrolling duty at Silcoorie camp market, Durgakuna TE, Irongmata Gutitilla, NH Point, Meharpur and adjoining areas fall under Silchar Police Station.
The excise officers seized 25 litres of fermented wash, 10.08 BL of different IMFL brands and beers of 650ml which were later destroyed.
Total three cases were booked as two persons were arrested in the connections.
