Guwahati News Desk: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal, Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined the Chah Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Mela 2021 on Saturday.
Around 7,46,667 beneficiaries of tea garden received disbursement under Chah Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Mela.
The Chah Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Mela has played an important role to ensure the financial including of the tea workers.
Earlier in the year 2017-18 an amount of Rs 2500 was credited to the accounts of 6,33,411 beneficiaries through DBT and to 7,15,979 accounts was credited 2018-19.
Today on the third phase an amount of Rs 3000 was credited to 7,46,666 accounts.
As total Rs, 8 thousand was credited to each beneficiary under the scheme.
