Guwahati News Desk: An FIR was registered by Mumbai Police against entire editorial staff of Republic TV news channel on Friday.
The FIR was registered for allegedly defaming Mumbai Police trying to cause disaffection among the members of police force.
All 1,000 staff of Republic news channel have been booked by the Mumbai Police for a non-bailable offence under sections 500 and 34 of IPC.
