Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal and Education Minister of State Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma launched ceremony of redesigned Swami Vivekanand Youth Empowerment Yojana at Kumar Bhaskar Barman Kshetra in Amingaon in Guwahati City on Wednesday.
Under the scheme, an amount worth Rs 1000 crore is aimed to provide working capital support to individual and group entrepreneurs.
The GoA also working to expand the scheme for existing enterprises.
It will also identify around 2 lakh youth members SHG’s, JLG’s, FPO’s and 1000 youth in each LAC in the first phase.
