Guwahati News Desk: A cargo train reportedly derailed at Narengi in Guwahati on Saturday.
During the incident at least five coaches of the goods train derailed from the track which leads rail traffic in the area.
According to the sources, the reason of the derail was still not known causing a massive traffic jam in the Narengi-Chandrapur road.
The goods trains usually carry food and essential materials for the army at Narengi base camp.
Soon after the incident, the army and local police immediately rushed on the spot to clear the track as no casualties reported.
