Guwahati News Desk: A huge quantity of heroin and illegal cough syrup bottles were recovered by Police officials from Hatigaon in Guwahati.
The illegal materials were seized from a rented house after a raid conducted by Hatigaon Police and Crime Branch.
The owner of the house was identified as Ramijuddin. The seized heroin and illegal cough syrup are worth Rs 2.5 lakh. Along with that six mobile handsets, one scooter having registration number AS 01 DF 8714 was seized from the spot and cash of Rs 9000 recovered from the accused.
Mohashin Khan, Md Mustaqeen, Wm Talha and Ramijuddin were arrested from the spot in connection with the illegal syrup.
