IED blast kills two security personnel in Jharkhand

Guwahati news desk: A Naxal-triggered IED blast on Thursday killed two security personnel and injured three in the forests of Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district.

The improvised explosive device (IED) blast took place around 8:45 AM in Hoyahatu village of the district and killed two jawans of the special unit of the state police, Jharkhand Jaguars.

However, two other personnel of the Jharkhand Jaguars and Central Reserve Police Force personnel were injured in the blast. According to reports, the joint team was out for an operation in the area.
