Guwahati News Desk: Government of India have decided to import 10 lakh tonnes of potatoes to boost domestic supply and control rising prices in the country.
Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal said government is taking active step over increasing prices on potatoes as around 30,000 tonnes of potatoes will arrive in the country soon from its neighbouring country Bhutan without license.
