Guwahati News Desk: Indian Awaz Foundation has launched its ‘Gift for Future’ campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day 2021.
The initiative is a pledge to support and safeguard the world we live In and air we breathe. The campaign goes by the theme to plant in order to balance the perpetual hegemony that man has over nature.
The main focus of the campaign launched by IAF is to promote awareness for the environment and to remind ourselves of our significant role in contributing to our mother earth.
IAF has been actively holding various activities on development under its shadow and the ‘Gift for Future’ campaign is being hosted with the same objective. The foundation wants all the people to take part by planting and taking responsibilities for a better and healthy nature.
IAF has lined up a list of influencers and change-makers for the task as the campaign includes a pledge to be taken to plant.
As the plantation will be conducted in the flood affected areas of Assam, and the initiative ‘Gift for Future’ is an effort to give back to the nature for the future.
Planting more trees is the only effective measure for the environment without destroying the ecosystem.
The campaign is a part to attempt to raise the issue of global concern as IAF requires massive participation for the cause and requests everyone to participate.
