Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated India’s first-ever smog tower in the national capital on Monday.
The first-ever smog tower was installed in the Connaught Place area which will work to improve air quality in New Delhi.
The smog tower will enable to improve the air quality in a radius of around one kilometre. According to the sources, the smog tower will purify one thousand cubic metres of air per second.
On the special occasion of Delhi CM Kejriwal said, “The performance of the smog tower is found to be satisfactory as it will purify one thousand cubic metres of air per second to improve the air quality in a radius of around one kilometre.”
According to the sources, in the coming days, the Delhi government will install similar smog towers across the capital city as the cost of the smog tower is worth Rs 20 crore.
