Guwahati News Desk: Guwahati City reported 1,070 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday as the state’s positivity rate hike to 7.87 per cent.
On Thursday, a total of 3,238 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Assam as active cases rises to 11,785.
Kamrup Metro has been listed as the top district in the State with more than a thousand cases followed by Cachar district with 305 cases, Dibrugarh district with 181 and Jorhat district with 145 positive cases.
However, three deceased were reported from Cachar, Charaideo and Kamrup Rural.
On Thursday, 1,242 patients have been recovered and discharged as the recovery rate reaches 96.66 per cent.
