Guwahati News Desk: People of Majuli lights up 1 lakh diyas on Friday to show appreciation and gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for laying the foundation stone for Majuli-Jorhat bridge overr the Brahmaputra river.

The bridge sectioned over the Brahputra river is not just connect Majuli with Jorhat it will make the communication more easier to commute specially for the Majuli people.

After the completion of the bridge it will help Majuli people for easy access to health at any time. The bridge to change the structure of the largest river island.
