Guwahati News Desk: A massive earthquake hits the Sonitpur district of Assam on Thursday. A magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale took place at 10.30 am with a depth of 10 km, says National Centre for Seismology.
Whereas, an earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richer scale hits West Karbi Anglong at 8.31 am with a depth of 10 km.
