Guwahati News Desk: At least five people were killed during a massive fire broke out at Serum Institute of India on Thursday.
The Serum Institute of India developed COVID-19 vaccine Covidshield in partnership with the Oxford University and British-Swedish pharma AstraZeneca.
The massive fire will effect the production of the vaccine developed by the SII.
According to the sources, more people were trapped in the building were rescued later.
The Serum CEO Adar Poonawalla has tweeted that the investigation process has been already started to find it the actual reason for the massive fire.
