Guwahati News Desk: A massive protest took out by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members against the Trinamool Congress (TMC) who allegedly attacked BJP workers and office post poll results in Kolkata.
The protest led by the National President of BJP J P Nadda and earlier on Tuesday around 400 residents of West Bengal managed to escape from TMC goons and arrived at Dhubri district in Assam after the post-poll violence.
Meanwhile, they were provided food and shelter by the government of Assam.
Nadda says, “Those who are supposed to protest the people are responsible for this violence. As we take a vow to protect the Constitutional values laid by Dr B R Ambedkar and will stop the political violence from Bengal which raised by TMC allegedly.”
